Uneek designer Benjamin Javaheri loves Facebook, but very rarely does he touch Instagram (as a matter of fact, we do not think he has a personal Instagram!)… So imagine our surprise when he announced that he wanted to take over the Uneek Jewelry Instagram account for one full week!
Yes, that’s right: in case you missed it, our president/CEO gave our marketing and social media team a week-long break from Instagram duties last week (from September 19 to 25, 2016) as he took on the reins in that department, giving our followers a behind-the-scenes look at Uneek’s design and manufacturing process, and showing them new pieces from his Signature Collection (white diamond one-of-a-kinds) and Natureal Collection (colored diamond one-of-a-kinds)…

One thing you should know about Benjamin is that he does not sit all day in his office designing pieces, or signing paperwork… A huge part of his day is popping into Uneek’s manufacturing facilities, and watching our jewelers work on our pieces. He loves being able to sit with them as they do their magic, and being able to be hands-on with them and the whole process. Here he is checking as a bench jeweler gives final touches to one of his Signature Collection rings, style # LVS969CU.

Benjamin loves cushion-cut diamonds. Right now, as of this writing, he is mad about ovals, but whenever he gets his hands on a very special cushion-cut, all the ovals will have to wait!

Of course, Benjamin loves his yellow diamonds, too… Actually, he loves all colored diamonds! So much so that he made a collection dedicated to them, calling it the Natureal Collection.

Notice the ring on the top of this cluster, and the one on the far left (fancy yellow radiant and oval, respectively)? Notice how they have curvy double shanks? Yes, although these rings belong to the Natureal Collection, this shank style was borrowed from Benjamin’s favorite bridal collection, Silhouette (he called it Silhouette because the curvy shanks are inspired by the “natural curves of a woman’s body).

Diamond eternity bands are a year-round staple here at Uneek… Never a week goes by that we are not working on an eternity band or two… Up ’til this point everything Uneek has been making are white diamond eternity bands, but in a few months (in time for the Vegas jewelry shows next summer) we will be launching new eternity band styles that no one in the industry has ever made/done before!

Of course, Benjamin just had to punctuate his Instagram takeover with high drama… Isn’t that necklace divine? (And didn’t we mention Benjamin loves his cushion-cuts?)
