All the Uneek Engagement Rings Featured in The Knot Spring 2017 Issue
Picked up the latest issue (Spring 2017) of The Knot yet? If you haven’t, well, you should! Dubbed “The Inspiration Issue,” it’s their most ambitious spring issue yet, and it is chock-full of, well, inspiration for all you brides-to-be (and fiancées-to-be) out there, from the gorgeous gatefold cover to the touching story of the real-life couple featured in their Last Page column!
Uneek is no stranger to being featured in bridal magazines, especially The Knot, but this issue is extra special to us because, well, it’s not just one Uneek engagement ring spotlighted in these pages, but four! Yes, you read that right: four! One from our Unity Collection, one from our Amore Collection, one from our Silhouette Collection, and one of our classic three-stone styles! In this blog post we break the four featured rings down for you and give you the details on each style!
Turn to page 219 of the magazine and you will see a ring story called “A Good Vintage” featuring, well, vintage and vintage-style engagement rings, and on the bottom right is a Uneek engagement ring style from our Unity Collection (style # USM018RD-6.5RD) with Art Nouveau-inspired upper shank detailing. (This style is also featured in page 18 of the Uneek Spring/Summer 2017 lookbook.) The semi-mount that fits a 1-carat round center has 34 round diamonds, with a combined weight of approximately 0.33 carats. So many Uneek retailers carry this style—find out if the one nearest you is one of them by giving them a call!
Now, on to page 325, where you will see a photo of a model in a stunning froufrou wedding dress from Rivini (ostrich feathers!) sitting on a Baroque-style throne chair in moss green velvet (part of a dramatic fashion story called “Renaissance Bride” that begins in page 318, photographed by Liz Von Hoene and styled by Morgan Gibbons). That ring she is wearing is a Uneek oval-center three-strone ring from our Silhouette Collection, one of our bestselling styles from 2015 and 2016, featuring a three-carat oval center. Click here for more details about this ring, and click here for a video! Most Uneek retailers carry the version made to fit a 1-carat oval center.
Easily our favorite fashion story in this issue is “On Pointe,” photographed by Andrew Eccles and styled by Audrey Slater, which begins in page 328, featuring exquisite dance-inspired wedding dresses on ballerina Courtney Lavine (Corps de Ballet member, American Ballet Theater; she was also recently featured in French Vogue and the New York Times). The photo in the opening spread, which shows the dancer in divine form wearing a sculptural off-the-shoulder dress from Carol-Hannah.com, is simply mindblowing. Zoom in to the ring in her left hand: that’s one of the original styles from our Amore Collection, made to fit an emerald-cut center, with a rectangular halo of pave diamonds—and, you can’t see it in The Knot photo, but this ring also features a floral-inspired filigree dancing under the head. Click here for more details about this ring!
The second photo from the same story (page 330) shows Ms. Lavine in a stunning lace dress from Christos Bridal and a Uneek round diamond three-stone engagement ring, one of our classic bridal styles. It’s the SWS207, to fit a 1-carat center, featuring a tapered upper shank lined by graduating rounds, and two slightly larger round sidestones to flank the center. Most of our premier bridal partners (like Maryland’s Smyth Jewelers, Florida’s Sullivan’s Jewelers, etc.) carry this style!
